Al Gore hat sich nach seiner Zeit als US-Vizepräsident politisch neu erfunden und kämpft in der Umweltpolitik jetzt seit Jahren für mehr Klimaschutz. Sein Dokumentarfilm “Eine unbequeme Wahrheit” über die Folgen des globalen Treibhauseffekts wurde weltweit beachtet und mit dem Oscar ausgezeichnet.

Mit seinem App-Buch Our Choice erweitert er die Klimadebatte um ein neues Kapitel (erschienen im Mai 2011) und nebenbei revolutioniert er auch gleich noch das Buchlesen. So sieht es zumindest sein Verlag Push Pop Press:

Klingt etwas strapaziert. Das App-Buch lässt sich aber tatsächlich gut nutzen (“lesen” ist wohl nicht unbedingt der passende Begriffe). Und es bietet viel Inspiration fürs Lese-App-Design – wie auch diesem Video zu entnehmen ist:
